Welsh rugby union player and current Exeter Chiefs lock Dafydd Jenkins, has become not only the youngest captain of English Premiership giants Exeter Chiefs, but also the youngest in the entirety of Premiership Rugby history.
At just 19 years old, Jenkins captained the Chiefs for the first time in a clash against London Irish in the Gallagher Premiership on Saturday 12th November. The Welsh lock saw the team emerge victorious with a win of 22 - 17 against their London rivals at Exeter Chiefs home Sandy Park.
Having been flagged as a potential bolter for Wales at the World Cup, it has now been announced that Jenkins has been named in Wayne Pivac's Wales squad for the Autumn Nations Series and is set to make his international debut.
