PORTUGAL’S CDUL RUGBY SELECT SAMURAI AS OFFICAL KIT PARTNER

Centro Desportivo Universitário de Lisboa (CDUL) has selected Samurai Sportswear for all its official match day, training, & leisurewear kit in a three-year deal. With the top-flight Portuguese rugby competitions already underway, Samurai will take over from current kit supplier with immediate effect.

This partnership will see all the Senior squad of CDUL (players coaches and other club staffwearing kit designed and manufactured exclusively for the club by Samurai. CDUL is one of Portugal’s elite professional clubs, playing in the Campeonato Nacional de Rugby Divisão de Honra, the equivalent of the English Premiership league. CDUL also plays the Taça de Portugal de Rugby, the top-level knock-out competition in Portugal.

Based at the CDUL multi-sport venue in Lisbon, the club has a thriving junior section and strong track record of producing international players, having produced many 15-aside, 7-aside and world cup caps.

Speaking at the announcement of the deal, Lourenço Fernandes Thomaz, CDUL’s Director of Rugby for the Senior Squad said:
