ESTABLISHED: 1886
Rugby union was the first sport to be played at Hong Kong football Club, when it was founded in 1886. Since that first game, Hong Kong Football Club’s Rugby Section has grown exponentially into the established club it is now, with a distinguished sporting history. Seven men’s rugby teams and two women’s rugby teams have the privilege of using superior facilities provided by one of the finest rugby clubs in Asia, allowing them to become successful in the local leagues. These teams also have a proud tradition of touring, taking the spirit of Hong Kong Football Club’s Rugby Section across Asia and the world.
