Global Rapid Rugby club South China Tigers has renewed its partnership with Samurai Sportswear to supply all its official match day, training & leisurewear kit. Following a successful partnership with Samurai for the Global Rapid Rugby Showcase Series 2019, South China Tigers has gone with Samurai for the 2020 season too.
The deal will see all South China Tigers players, coaches and other club staff continuing to wear bespoke kit by Samurai Sportswear. This includes new playing designs for 2020.
The deal includes an exclusive range of matchday replica, training & leisure wear for Tigers supporters. Retailing of the supporters’ range will continue to be controlled by the club in partnership with Samurai Sportswear.
The supporters’ range will be available for purchase at South China Tigers home games in 2020, and online from around April 2020.
Speaking on the announcement of the renewal, South China Tigers Chief Commercial Officer Rocky Chow said:
“We are delighted to be working with Samurai again for Season One of the Global Rapid Rugby, both Terry and I saw the potential of a professional franchise in Hong Kong, and the opportunities with a professional Asia Pacific competition brings, especially after a record-breaking RWC2019 in Japan.
