We are now in our fourth year of using Samurai as the club's kit supplier, the last three years of which have been one of the Samurai's associated clubs. Prior to using Samurai the club used a variety of suppliers and whilst the service wasn't necessarily poor, none was able to provide the wide range selection that the club was looking for to re-establish a standard corporate image over a substantial period. With Samurai we have been able to assemble a unified range of both playing and leisure clothing to create a Maidstone Rugby brand, as well as source a broad range of training and ancillary equipment. Excellent communication with both their regional representative and also head office has meant that requirements are able to be discussed promptly and solutions identified quickly for any issues that arise. As a club Maidstone Rugby has no problem with endorsing Samurai in terms of both the quality of their products and the level of service they supply to the club.

Cambridge touch have been working with Samurai in regards to uniform for a number of years. I have specifically been involved in this process for the last year. In my dealings with Mark Thompson and the Samurai team I have always found it a very easy process. We have had specific team playing shirts made through Samurai and they have been of very high quality. We also recieve all our team kit from them and generally order this through current stock. I have found that they try to work around what's best for you.

"At Witham RUFC, we obtained some new sponsors, so we needed a new kit. We looked at three suppliers for this new kit and Samurai were the first to respond. Mark Thompson at Samurai rang us and met with us at our rugby club, so we could have a look at various designs, colours and sizes. By the time the other two suppliers had come back to us, Samurai had already done a drawing for us online, so it was a no brainer that Samurai was the kit for us. Mark was friendly, always answered his phone, always responded and we had a good relationship going. The kit itself is superb! We have had a good response from all the players who love it, but some are still getting used to wearing pro-fit shirts for the first time! The detailing and colours are great, even the supporters love the shirt.
