A huge congratulations goes to all the Samurai employees who completed the challenging Spartan Race in Cambridge on 24th July 2011.
The Samurai Warriors all finished the gruelling race to help raise funds for our charity Demelza. The team put themselves through their paces over a muddy 5 KM course which comprised of mud runs, ice trench, fire pits, trial racing and physical challenges. Although all at Samurai love a challenge, the Warriors wanted to show supports to our corporate charity Demelza, who provide hospice care for children with life threatening and life limiting illnesses.
To match the spirit and determination of the team, Samurai designed and donated the shirts for the team; and a big thank you goes to Wymondham Rugby Clubs who allowed the team to training with them in preparation for the race.
In total the Samurai Warriors raised over £500 for charity which will be vital for Demelza, as they function purely on donations from the public. Richard Brand, Samurai Sales Director said; “We are really proud of our association with Demelza and delighted that the members of our staff took it on themselves to raise money and awareness for such a brilliant cause.”
